Terms of Service

1. About NextRole and these terms

NextRole is operated by NextRole Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. [company number]), registered office [registered address]. “NextRole”, “we” and “us” mean NextRole Ltd; “you” means the person using the service. If you use NextRole on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. What NextRole does

NextRole helps people find roles in the UK job market. Our AI scans live vacancies and matches them to your background, and produces tailored CVs and cover letters. Depending on your plan:

• On managed plans, a real Career Agent reviews each match, tailors your application, and submits it on your behalf. Nothing is submitted by automated decision alone.
• On self-service plans, we prepare matched roles and tailored materials, and you submit the applications yourself.

NextRole is a tool to support your job search. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or any particular outcome.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
• You must provide accurate, current, and truthful information, including in your profile and CV.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
• One account per person; do not share your account.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and quotas

• NextRole is offered on tiered monthly subscription plans. Features and monthly quotas (for example, the number of matched roles and applications, and whether a Career Agent submits for you) vary by plan — see the pricing page for current details.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each period until cancelled.
• Usage is subject to your plan's quotas. If you reach a quota you may need to upgrade to continue that activity in the current period.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and stops future charges. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
• Where offered, add-ons or one-time purchases are charged separately and are non-refundable except as required by law.
• We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

5. Connecting job-board accounts and applying on your behalf

• On managed plans you may connect your accounts on third-party job boards. By doing so, and by selecting or approving roles, you authorise NextRole and your Career Agent to access those accounts and submit applications on your behalf using the information in your profile.
• You confirm that you are entitled to use those accounts, that connecting them does not breach the job board's terms, and that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.
• You can review tailored materials, and you remain responsible for the content of your applications.
• You can disconnect job-board credentials at any time. Your credentials are stored encrypted and access to them is logged.
• We are not responsible for third-party job boards or employers — their availability, terms, or hiring decisions — and you must comply with their terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use NextRole for any unlawful purpose or to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• Impersonate anyone or apply for roles you are not entitled to apply for;
• Attempt to circumvent quotas, security, access controls, or rate limits;
• Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the platform, or use it to build a competing product;
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or other users.

7. Interview preparation and AI-generated content

NextRole provides AI-generated content (such as tailored CVs, cover letters, and interview practice) and optional spoken practice via a third-party voice provider. AI output can contain errors or omissions — review it before you rely on or submit it. You are responsible for the final content of anything submitted in your name.

8. Referrals and affiliates

If you take part in any referral or affiliate programme, additional terms apply, and any rewards are subject to the conditions of that programme. We may change or end these programmes at any time.

9. Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own the NextRole platform, software, and brand. You keep ownership of the content you provide (such as your CV and profile) and grant us a licence to store and process it, and to generate applications from it, solely to provide the service to you.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee any job-search result, including that applications will pass applicant tracking systems, receive responses, or lead to interviews or offers.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of employment opportunity, profits, or data; and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Suspension and termination

• You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users.
• On termination your right to use the service stops; sections that by their nature should survive (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) continue to apply.

13. Changes

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use NextRole after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
